Sr. Engineer: Li-Ion Cylindrical Cell Design and Manufacturing
A silicon valley based clean energy (Li-ion battery) company – Nanoexa has immediate position/s open for Li-ion cell design and manufacturing engineer/s with 5-7 years experience in design, slurry prep, coating, winding and fabrication of 18650/26650/26700 cylindrical cells for prototype development and optimization for commercial level applications in the power tools and PHEV, EV, HEV areas. The position/s will involve development and optimization of basic designs according to new electrode materials chemistry and changes in the application specifications, extensive travel to the commercial manufacturing location for the prototype fabrication and initialization, and interfacing with the materials development and performance/safety testing teams for the overall optimization and delivery to the operations for the eventual product scale-up and manufacturing. Compensation, benefits, relocation expenses, and incentives will be competitive and commensurate with the position, and highly experienced candidates could be considered for management level position as well.
