IEEE International EMC Symposium, Navy Pier, Chicago, IL, USA - August 8-12

The 2005 IEEE International EMC Symposium, held August 8-12 at Navy Pier in Chicago, was a resounding success. Chairman Tom Braxton and his local committee had few glitches to report. Highlights ranged from informative technical sessions and an interactive EMC Forum to a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed structures, Second City comedy, Chicago-style deep dish pizza, the world famous Art Institute, and a gala dinner cruise on Lake Michigan. Next year we head for Portland, Oregon, the Rose City (and also famous for good pinot noirs).
