2009 IEEE Symposium
FROM MOTOWN TO MOO-TOWN
Last year it was Detroit; this year it was Austin, Texas, the "Live Music Capital of the World"! And what fun everyone was having. The host hotel was the Hilton, whose bar became popular for meeting, eating and drinking. Across the street was the Convention Center where everything else was happening. For the first time, in addition to a call for technical papers, there was a call for EMC musicians who livened things up for a day in the exhibit hall. It was surprising to learn how many EMC'ers could actually play a guitar and sing!
2010's symposium will be at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, July 25-30. See you there!
