Practical Guides to EMC

A CD containing PDF versions of 20 practical guides relating to EMC immunity and emission standards, many of which are called up by the EMC Directive, is available free of charge from REO U.K. There are also guides on mains harmonics and good EMC engineering practices for panel builders plus six technical articles covering related subjects.

These articles reflect current changes in EMC legislation such as the new EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and new harmonics standard EN61000-3-12 that will come into force on 1st February 2008.

EMC Components Catalog

Schaffner EMC (now Teseq Inc.) has a new EMC components catalog detailing its extensive line of EMI filters: IEC-inlet, PCB, single-phase filters and feed-through components for commercial power systems.

The 196-page catalog has an easy-to-use product selection chart and a simplified contents page that also serves as a reference to help users find product information quickly.
