10W Broadband Amplifier

The RF/Microwave Instrumentation division of AR Worldwide has a new broadband solid state product that satisfies the need for low power, high frequency applications. Model 10S4G11 is a 10W, 4-10.6Ghz amplifier that joins the 1W and 5W versions.

With a frequency response of 4-10.6GHz instantaneously, it gives users room to grow as specifications and requirements demand higher frequencies. The 10S4G11 includes digital control (IEEE-488 GPIB and RS-232) for both local and remote control of the amplifier. In addition to its frequency response, the 10S4G11 has:

   • Power output at 3dB compression: 13W nominal; 10W minimum.

   • Power output at 1dB compression: 11W nominal; 9W minimum.

   • Flatness: ±2.0dB typical; ±3.0dB maximum.

   • Gain: 40dB minimum.

   • Harmonic Distortion: minus 20dBc maximum at 10W.
