OPHIRRF's 500W Amplifier

The OPHIRRF Model 5037 high power, broadband amplifier (pictured on page 1) produces 500 watts of CW power over the instantaneous frequency range of 200 to 1000MHz. The 5037 exhibits excellent harmonic rejection as evidenced by harmonic signals typically better than 30dBc below the fundamental. Furthermore, the amplifier has both input and output RF protection.

On the input side, RF overdrive circuitry protects the unit from levels of up to +13dBm. On the output side, the amplifier has high load VSWR protection. The user can define the level of reflected power at which a warning will occur. There is also a built-in health test, which monitors the amplifier down to the module level.

EMC and Microwave Noise Absorber Pads

FerriShield’s new RF noise absorber pads offer comprehensive shielding coverage at four peak EMC frequencies of 300, 400, 500 and 800MHz and eight peak microwave frequencies from 2.2GHz to 80GHz.
