SatCon Sees Increased EV/HEV Business

SatCon Technology Corp. of Boston, Massachusetts, reports that it has received more than $1.2M in orders during the past few months for on-board vehicle components to support domestic and international production of hybrid electric vehicles and electric vehicles in the off-road vehicle, heavy truck and specialty markets.

Satcon’s products are based on its technical component capabilities and systems integration experience in the hybrid and electric vehicle automotive market over the past 10 years. The company has extensive capabilities and experience in providing hybrid and electric drive systems for transportation projects including buses, trucks, vans and prototype vehicles.
