Micro Power Doubles Building Space
Micro Power Electronics, a pioneer in lithium
battery systems and smart battery packs, has moved
its headquarters to a larger facility to accommodate
ongoing engineering and production growth. The
company’s new address is 13955 SW Millikan
Way, Beaverton, Oregon 97005.
The 65,000-square-foot facility doubles the company’s
space for administrative, manufacturing and production
functions. Deciding not to outsource production
overseas, Micro Power now has 10 production lines
and two shifts to meet the increased demand for
custom portable power systems from its OEM customers.
In the past two years, the company has grown from
100 to 250 employees and doubled its revenue.
By the end of this year, it intends to fill 40
additional administrative, manufacturing and production
jobs.
