Piezoelectric Accelerometer Measures Shock

VIP Sensors’s new Model 1011 miniature piezoelectric accelerometer (1.2gm) measures vibration and shock on structures and small objects. The self-generating device requires no external power and has a broad frequency response range to 15kHz and a high resonance frequency at 50kHz. It uses a piezoelectric crystal material that exhibits stable output sensitivity over the operating temperature range. Also each sensor features a 10-foot integral low noise cable terminated with a 10-32 connector.

The company offers a range of piezoelectric and voltage mode accelerometers, signal conditioners, data acquisition systems, cable assemblies and accessories. Shock and vibration calibration services are also available for all types of accelerometers.
