Saft Named Battery Company of the Year

Batteries International magazine has awarded its Gold award for most successful battery company of the year 2003/2004 to Saft.

The company was chosen after a survey conducted amongst battery industry players and major customers worldwide. The main factors in the choice of Saft were the company’s overall professionalism and way of conducting business, its consistent high quality products, continually reinforcing its business base and also the smooth and rapid transformation of the company into an independent group, after separation from its former parent company in January.

Receiving the award on behalf of Saft, was Bertrand Olivesi, managing director. “This award is a great tribute to the devoted men and women of Saft,” he said. “Our major motivation is serving our customers in the best possible way, with excellent products they can rely on, even in extreme situations. The award encourages us to strive even harder to meet these goals.”
